Received an email from balesio a few days ago that FILEminimizer Pictures is now free for personal and home use! It used to cost €24.95 for a single user license but now anyone can just download the software, install it and start reducing the size of huge photos. A cheap camera for beginner nowadays can already go up to 10MP which will result in the photo size being really huge. For a user that doesn’t know much about computers, they would obviously waste time and bandwidth in uploading the original uncompressed photo to Facebook.

This is the most widely spread problem that almost every person has when working on a computer. It’s the unnecessary mess that clutters the desktop and makes it look like a junk-o-land.
