NewWindows Phone 7 Features
When anyone asks me what the future of computers will look like, I take out my Verizon phone and say, PC’s are going to be this big. Naturally, we will have monitors and keyboards, but the actual PC will be so small that you can carry it in your own shirt pocket.
Well, that future PC is already here. It is the mobile phone device. iPhone or Windows Phone 7, or Android…whatever. The device does what the consumer needs outside of a business setting. That is the key.
Consumers don’t need Access, or Excel, or a Database system; they need communication between and among their friends. Steve Jobs idea to create a communication device attached to a mobile phone was genius. Otherwise, it would have been just another play toy for geeks. But he turned a mobile phone into a computer. With the Apps concept, it showed that if you have a specific program that does one, specific, thing the consumer will buy it. This is a far cry from the portable computer, or laptop. Now the PC can be relegated to it’s appropriate role, that of a business computer.

Microsoft launched a new website demo for Windows 7, where you can test drive many features of the new version of Windows, without need to install it.
Everything is going to work inside a web browser, with a couple of clicks. That’s the only purpose of the website.
If, for some reason, you don’t want to test it online, you can also download or watch videos that demonstrate the new features of Windows 7.

Check your local weather conditions and forecast right on the taskbar in Windows 7 with WeatherBar. Start up the free utility and the application icon and background will indicate the current conditions. Right click on the icon to show the jump list and see the forecast for the next few days.
Internet Explorer 9 includes a new tab view that displays the sites you visit most frequently. The view can be accessed by clicking the new tab button or by navigating to about:Tabs in the address bar. Frequent sites listed are limited to 2 rows (10 total sites) on the screen but this can be customized with a simple registry tweak. With a little help you will be able to expand the most popular sites feature to create a useful dashboard to quickly load your favorite sites without typing in the addresses.
If you have got Wi-Fi in your laptop and have Windows 7 installed in it then you can easily turn it into a Wi-Fi hotspot and share your net connection with other people in the range and Virtual Router is the easiest way to do so.
